Tips for Cooking in Italy

Where to go in Italy for a cooking program?
Italy is a country that is not only rich with history and art but also cuisine options. Cooking styles in Italy can vary not only from region to region but even from town to town. Tuscany is one of the famous Italian cuisines that offers variety of food types.
Tuscany has always been one of the first choices of travels for cooking and wine tasting in Italy. It has a good selection of cooking schools as well as wineries. Lucca, the city of Tuscany is home to International Academy of Italian Cuisine. The school offers one of the bets cooking classes in Italy accompanied by chefs.
What to do when in Lucca?
Firstly, as we mentioned above, you can have at least 4 different cooking classes at the Italian Cuisine Academy. The classes can be spread out to different dates followed by lunch or dinner.
Secondly, when you are in Tuscany and this close to Florence, you have to take a day trip to discover the city. You can take the train from Lucca to Florence which is about an hour and 20 minutes ride with a very decent rate. Once in Florence, you can do a full day tour of Florence including Accademia and Uffizi Gallery. Be advised that the Accademia is closed on Mondays.
Thirdly, you are only a little over an hour away from the picturesque Cinque Terre! You can hop on a local train that passes through all the little towns of Cinque Terre and get off which ever stop you wish to see first and then continue to the next one.
Lastly, when in Tuscany, you can not skip a wine tasting of famous Tuscan Wines. You can start your day by taking a guided visit of Montecarlo followed by a lunch and wine tasting at a winery.
